- DonePass is free for one child. Add the rest of the family on the one account and the one price. There is no per-child charge, ever.
- Homework times that start themselves
- Pick the days and a time, and homework time begins on its own — whether or not anyone opens DonePass. The ones you start by hand stay free and unlimited.
- Saved settings you can reuse
- Keep the settings you picked once — the length, when the apps come back, the lot — and start the same homework time again in a single tap.
- History beyond the last 7 days
- Free keeps the current week. The older ones are not deleted — they reappear if you buy later.

Never behind a purchase
A phone is never held locked over a payment.
The line is drawn at automation and scale, never at safety and never at a lock that is already running. If a subscription lapses mid-homework, nothing about that homework time changes.
- Ending homework time
- From your phone, at any moment, whether or not anything has been paid for.
- “Remove all blocking”
- On screen the whole time homework time runs. It works with no signal.
- The 3-hour ceiling
- Enforced on your child's phone by iOS. It is not a setting and has nothing to do with payment.
- Phone, Messages and FaceTime
- Never locked by DonePass, in any state, on any tier. It never locks a whole category of apps either — the one way a system app could be caught without anyone naming it.
- Breaks and pausing the timer
- Your child asks, you answer. Pause when dinner lands and pick up where the clock stopped.
- Tasks, photos and approvals
- The whole loop is free and unlimited, for as long as you use the app.
Buying, cancelling and refunds
- Who takes the money?
- Apple. Both options are in-app purchases, so Apple is the seller, Apple charges your Apple Account, and we never see your card details.
- How do I cancel the monthly one?
- In iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, not inside DonePass. Cancel at least 24 hours before the month ends. It stops future charges; it does not refund the month you are in, and you keep everything until it runs out.
- What if I stop paying?
- Nothing you already have is taken away. The children you added stay, their history stays, and homework times you start by hand keep working. You just cannot add another child or make a new self-starting time until it is active again.
- Refunds?
- Through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue, approve or refuse an Apple refund. Write to us anyway and we will tell you what we know, but the decision is Apple's.
- I paid, and a new phone is asking again.
- Use “Restore purchases” on the unlock screen. It has to be the same Apple Account that made the purchase, and you will not be charged twice.
- Can my child buy anything?
- No. The purchase screen exists only on the parent's side. A paired child device has no purchase surface at all — no price, no buy button, no upsell.
